This is a little hand painted nativity I created. Each year, our church hosts a ladies banquet to kick off the holiday season.

This was the first little angel I painted. Can you see the Monet influence?!

This year, the theme was ‘Angels: Messengers from God’.  Members volunteer to be hostesses and decorate the tables following the theme. This nativity has a host angels because of the theme.

Do you do anything crafty for Christmas?

I also created these ornaments as a hostess gift for the ladies who sat at my table.

 

Suddenly, a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,“Glory to God in the highest heaven,  and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.” Luke 2:13-14
