Ravished by grace

That was a term used by JD Greear in his book about Jonah.

Think about that. RAVISHED.  I can’t think of a better way to describe it.

The grace that overwhelms and carries me away.Screenshot 2014-03-27 11.30.00

Forgiving grace. The grace that doesn’t hold my mistakes over my head.  To know me so well and yet love me so deep. He realizes all the junk (let’s call it what it is-SIN) in my life and forgives me anyway.

He is enthralled with my beauty. (Psalm 45:11) And I am swept up in the current of the grace he lavishes on me. I want to spend all day lingering in that delight.

My cheeks are sore from smiling. My knees wobble. I cannot catch my breath. The spiritual manifest in the physical.
