It Is Well

Grieving death.
Grieving other losses.
Agonizing uncertainty.

I’m up early praying for several who are hurting. Wherever you are in a storm, whether it’s the edge, eye, or gale force, remember there is One who longs to redeem you. (Hosea 7:13) I am praying mightily for those that are hurting that you would cling to Him. Brothers and sisters, I can promise you, based on the authority of God’s Word, that joy is coming!

It is a sweet thing to pray for each other. The Lord gives us rivers of peace amidst the waves of sorrow. Those waves won’t overtake you. (Isaiah 43:2) I am convinced He gives us His eyes for others during prayer. He changes how we see people. Fills our hearts with grace. Teaches us compassion.

Can I leave you with a sweet promise from His Word?

“Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.” Psalm 126:5-6
