I recently had a little photo slideshow project that required scanning tons of old photos and newspaper clippings. Anyone who has done it knows scanning photos is a long, boring process. Photographing photos with my phone camera always resulted in a crooked image with a big fat glare.
UNTIL NOW…
It ‘lets you scan and save your favorite printed photos using your phone’s camera.’
I had a giant memory book full of things to scan and didn’t have to remove them from the album. The glare free claim is TRUE! The app place 4 dots on the picture, then you line up the circle over them. It snaps a photos of each of the 4 parts of the image then magically compiles them to one incredible digital image. The perspective correcting and smart rotation means you can very quickly get a great image. It’s FREE and available for iOS and Android. Highly recommend!
Here’s the video slideshow I created using many of the scanned photos and newspaper clippings:
Have you used the app? What’s your favorite way to scan photos?
