Last night we had a cookout. Burgers and dogs. That traditional southern food that’s sure to delight and fill everyone from kiddos to grannies.

This marked the debut of our newest piece of pallet furniture, the sectional. It is probably the largest piece we’ll ever attempt with pallets.

I’m still working on writing the story of it’s creation. In the meanwhile, you’ll have to be satisfied with *where* the wood came from and a few photos.

Our county is getting a new library (SQUEAL!!) and much of the furniture and equipment came in on pallets. Which were being thrown away. WHAT? No way am I squandering that good opportunity. So we loaded up.

This tool is a must when working outside in the summer!
These were ‘floor cushions’ we bought 2 years ago at Lowe’s. The throw pillows were painted by me!
